Welcome to ART OF FACES services. Every commission is designed and custom-made by hand to order by one costume maker in our Brooklyn studio — for carnival, cosplay, masquerade, and the moments that deserve more than off-the-rack. However you arrive — a flag, a character, a theme, a single photograph — you are welcome here, and we will shape it into something only you will wear.

Commissions

Every piece begins the same way: with a conversation. Art of Faces takes individual commissions only — each piece is designed with one client, for one wearer.

  • Custom Masquerade Masks · A mask designed and made only for you — your flag, your colors, your theme.
  • Carnival Costumes · Including bra & bottom sets, made to your measurements, in your flag, colors or theme.
  • Custom Cosplay Commissions · Bring your character to life, built from your references and your measurements.
  • Custom Event Outfits · One-of-a-kind outfits for balls, parties, premieres and festivals.

Because every piece is designed individually, prices are never listed here — your piece is quoted personally, after we design it together. Here is how it works.

How It Works

  1. Book a design consultation. Every commission starts with a one-on-one Design Consultation, where we talk through your idea, your event date, and what you are dreaming of wearing. Your consultation fee is credited in full toward your piece when you book your commission.
  2. We design your piece together. After your consultation, your design takes shape — colors, materials, embellishment, and every detail that makes it yours.
  3. Your quote and deposit. You receive a personal quote for your piece, confirmed with you before anything is made. A deposit books your commission, and your measurements are taken at this stage, once your design is underway.
  4. Your piece is made by hand. Your commission is created by hand in our Brooklyn studio, with progress check-ins along the way. Custom masks take 3–8 weeks of production; cosplay commissions and event outfits take 6–10 weeks; carnival costumes are scheduled with your quote, around the design and the season.
  5. Balance and delivery. Your final balance is invoiced before shipping. Your finished piece is carefully packaged and shipped to you — or ready for pickup at the studio.

Good to Know

  • Your consultation fee is credited in full toward any commission booked from it — it is the first step of your piece, never an extra charge.
  • Deposits are credited in full toward the commission they reserve.
  • Custom pieces are final sale. Each one is designed and made to order for you alone.
  • Measurements are taken after your deposit, once your design is underway — we will guide you through every measurement needed.
  • The final balance is invoiced before shipping on every commission.
  • Working to a date? Mention it at your consultation. Rush may be possible, quoted with your design — and only promised when the date can truly be kept.
